Pascal Castille
Partner
Pascal takes the wind-or-water disputes and the claims that need engineers and weather records.
When an insurer says the water did what the wind did, or the other way round, Pascal gathers the proof that settles it, and brings in an engineer when a number depends on one.
He handles the firm's lawsuits when a claim cannot be settled otherwise, and he tells clients when he thinks one is not worth filing. He is admitted in Louisiana and Texas.

How Pascal builds a storm claim
He starts with the water line and the weather record, and writes down what each tells him before he looks at the insurer's explanation. If the two disagree, he asks the insurer to say how.
He prefers to settle a claim without a lawsuit, and says so; he also says when the insurer has left no choice.

We charge no fee unless we recover more than the insurer had offered. The firm advances case costs, such as an engineer's report, and is repaid from a recovery. If there is none, you owe neither the fee nor the costs.
